Odaiba, Tokyo

If I have ever the chance to visit Japan again, I would definitely not miss going to Odaiba. Well, I'd been in love in this place four years ago. Yeah, when I first got there I had this feeling of happiness and contentment..I felt that's where I wanna be..I felt complete....sounds corny but it's true...really so love this place!

Odaiba has several tourist attractions such as entertainment and shopping malls like Aquacity, Palette Town, Decks Tokyo beach and Venus Fort. There's also the Seaside Park which overlooks the Rainbow bridge, the Fuji TV and museums.

Palette Town. An entertainment center consists of several attractions.

Venus Fort. A unique shopping mall in the style of a 18th century European town.

Seaside Park

Decks Tokyo Beach. Another shopping mall!

Hunter Valley Garden: A Great Weekend Escape

Relaxing, fresh air, magnificent garden, and huge collection of plants and flowers..that’s what I think about Hunter Valley garden. Located in Pokolbin, the heart of Hunter Valley wine country just two-hour drive from Sydney.

The garden is consists of several themes and one of my favourites is the StoryBook garden as my son enjoyed it so much. It features timeless old fashioned nursery rhymes characters such as Humpty Dumpty, Alice in Wonderlands, Jack and Jill and many more!

Other features of the garden are Sunken Garden, Italian Grotto, Border garden, Indian Mosaic garden, Oriental garden, Chinese Garden, Rose Garden, Lakes Walk and much much more! There are really so much more beautiful spots to see!

My Dream Trip....One on my Lists!

I love watching Getaway on television every Thursday. It is one of my favorite shows as I love to travel or at least to witness the wonders of the world made by god.On the last episode of the show, it featured Banff, Alberta. The town is truly scenic and fantastic and there are numerous things to do such as skiing, enjoying the amazing view while at the cable car, swimming in the spring water pool, etc. I told myself that I would definitely go there, I really must see that place! While waiting for that opportunity or should I say miracle, I just googled it to see more photos of it and thanks for http://travelandtweet.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Banff.jpg for having a good shot that I can upload here.

So starting today, I'm gonna spend less money on shopping so I could save more to make this dream trip come true....:)) Well, looking at the picture above, who wouldn't want to see that on her/his own eyes?

A Little Bit of Luck

I love my work so much but I feel demotivated today due to bigoted circumstances happening around me. I just decided to go out and buy something for my stomach to appease my cravings for banana bread and muffin! Instead, I went to NSW agency to buy my favourite scratchies but there was no more available so I ended up buying Inca Gold Bingo scratchies. Once ticket cost three dollars. The game is very easy to play; you just need to find matched numbers from the given numbers on each game panel. I always buy scratchies every pay day and when I'm down, just like today. Luckily, I won a small amount of money, just eight dollars, enough for my muffin! Well, that simple thing like that cheers me up and slightly forgets the imperfection of the world. Hahaha that's me, so easy to please!

Family Trip to Tobago

Before going back to the Philippines, my family had a trip to Tobago. Tobago (pronounced /təˈbeɪɡoʊ/) is the smaller of the two main islands that make up the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. It is located in the southern Caribbean Sea, northeast of the island of Trinidad and southeast of Grenada. I would definitely come back here if money was not a problem.

Going there is a one-hour plane ride from Trinidad. A local who owns the apartment that we rented fetched up in the airport early in the morning and accommodating enough to accompany us in the car rental. When we arrived, we were fascinated with the relaxing view from our unit:

Tobago is a very green and appealing island full of vegetation as well as the calm beaches of Caribbean Sea. Being a small island, we were able to explore it during our trip and went into popular attractions such as Argyle falls, Nylon pool, Pigeon Point and different lookouts. I would say that this paradise is worth to see.

Below are some of our photos taken during the entire trip:

Argyle falls is one of the most scenic spots in Tobago.

me and lance. The spring water is extremely cool!

Toco

While I was freeing up space on my hard disk, I came across a cache of photos of me when I was in Trinidad and Tobago. Toco is one of my favorite places in Trinidad because of its majestic beaches, aside from scenery road and a fresh air to breathe. The two hour drive from our house in San Fernando was totally worth it.

As per wikepedia,
Toco is the most northeasterly village on the island of Trinidad in the County of Saint David at the point where the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet. Tobago lies only some 35 kilometers to the northeast which renders Toco the closest point in Trinidad to the sister island.

Internet Security 2010

RogueAntiSpyware.InternetSecurity2010 is a Rogue Anti - Spyware program that displays fake messages to trick users that their computer is infected and to persuade them to purchase the product. The program usually arrives as a file dropped by a Trojan or downloaded from the internet.

Upon execution, it creates a copy of itself as: %ProgramFiles%\InternetSecurity2010\IS2010.exe

It also adds the following Windows shortcut files pointing to the rogue antispyware:

It adds the registry entry below so that the program will run every time Windows starts: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] Internet Security 2010 = "%ProgramFiles%\InternetSecurity2010\IS2010.exe"

Once running, Internet Security scans the infected computer and shows a list of malwares it found in the system. Please note that the said list is faked and the infected files are actually do not exist in the system.

It will display several fake alert messages and warnings and persuade users into purchasing the full version of this software - in order to remove the detected threats.

Aside from the annoying pop-ups and alert messages, it will not allow user to open certain application. Instead it displays a message stating that the application is infected thus, cannot be executed and the only solution is to purchse the product!

It was last December when I decided to get a plan for iphone in Virgin Mobile here in Sydney. I must admit that I find it fantastic and handy. There are lots of applications that can be downloaded in apple website free or with charge. I also use my iphone as navigator when travelling around Sydney as our car doesn’t has navigator installed in it. I also love taking videos of my two-year old son whenever his in the mood or playing in the playground.

Last night, when my son Lance was watching his videos, my iphone suddenly stopped working! Even I pressed the on and off button it was still not working. I even recharge it thinking that the battery just got empty. However, it wasn’t responding at all. I browsed the internet to find a solution. I started typing “iphone stopped working” in the GOOGLE search bar or simply searching in www.google.com. And from the forum I’ve read that there’s need to restart it by pressing the HOME button and POWER button at the top together for about 15 seconds or so. I tried it twice and voila! It turned on! I was relief that I no longer need to return it.
